Everything has to start somewhere. The difference between an "agency" and a web service company is where you start.
.At Stauffer, a web service company, the beginning is the customer. Before anything else, we sit down with you and begin the research stage - learning everything there is to know about you, your organization, and the reason you want a web presence.
.Next comes the organizational stage. Now that we've discerned the site's purpose for existing, we create information and navigational structures to best serve those needs being met.
.After all of this planning, it's time for creative and design. Brainstorming, design, wireframing - all to serve the earlier-identified purposes for the site.
.Usually overlooked is the testing stage. Nothing is ever perfect, and although we like to hold ourselves to perfection, we know that we (and you) are only human. Once you approve of the site, they're extensively tested for cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, including accessibility disabled users.
.Launch. Watching out for kinks and bugs, keeping up to date with comments and e-mail, and generally watching over the site, your final product is pushed out into the world.
